About Me
My name is Ivy! I’m an artist born and raised in Washington State. I am a recent graduate from the Northwest College of Art and Design in Tacoma, Washington, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication with a focus on Illustration and Graphic Design. Creativity has, and always will be, my passion in life. I channel this passion into each piece I create, producing work that can inspire others to see the magic in the world around them.
During my time at the Northwest College of Art and Design, I have learned to become a professional illustrator and graphic designer. I am a visual storyteller, striving to convey meaning through imagery in every illustration and design piece. I have proficiency in various Adobe Suite applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I enjoy using my illustrations in my graphic design pieces, so I will often use multiple Adobe applications to complete a design.
I have always had a particular interest in fantasy art, including faeries, mermaids, elves, gnomes, and goblins as subjects. A lot of the art I create for myself tends to feature fantasy elements and subject matter. In my professional life, I hope to be able to use my love of fantasy to fuel my work by incorporating magic into my designs whenever I can.
